NYSMF is a six-week summer music camp filled with extraordinary musical opportunities for talented young musicians ages 10 to 25.

6/23: NYSMF resident actor KEISUKE HOASHI appears again on TNT's new drama "HAWTHORNE" with Jada Pinkett Smith!

6/19: NYSMF Jazz Conductor and Director of Education, DR SHERRIE MARICLE, appears on NPR tonight for Marian McPartland's Piano Jazz!

6/2/09: Sessions I & II are almost completely full! Enrollment is at its highest ever, even going back to the original NYSMC (founded in 1947)

5/25/09: Full concert calendar published at YAHOO

Perform in over 40 concerts each summer.
Study 1-on-1 with some of the finest professional musicians from Juilliard, Curtis, the New York Pops, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, and many, many other of the world's best performing ensembles.

At NYSMF, you will experience a richly rewarding musical environment that is uniquely challenging, supportive, professional and fun.

NYSMF is hosted by the State University College at Oneonta in Oneonta, New York (4 hours northwest of New York City and 1 hour west of Albany, NY), located in the beautiful foothills of the Catskill Mountains.
