NYSMF Administration

NYSMF was founded in 2006 by Jungeun Kim, Keisuke Hoashi, and Dan Spencer. Joined by Kellie Place and Dr. Robert Barstow, they built the festival into the amazing experience it is today. In just six summers, thousands of students and hundreds of instructors, staff, visiting artists from all around the world have traveled from halfway around the world to participate in NYSMF. Among them, NYSMF's administrative team has more than 100 summers of experience with music camps alone.
