Stay in touch with your new music camp friends all year long -- and all life long, too!

Back in olden times, when I was in music camp, the end of the summer would find you huddled in the back seat of your parent's car, covered in joyfully sad tears, holding as tightly as possible to the weeks of fantastic NYSMF memories as Oneonta recedes behind you.

You return home and write letter after letter to all your new friends, who, after 2, 4, or 6 weeks of music camp, seem as close as your oldest friends, and wait breathlessly for return mail every day until school starts after Labor Day.

WELL, NO LONGER!

• Sure, you still miss seeing everyone every day, but with our wonderful Facebook Group, you can keep track of everyone at every picosecond of the school year!
  
  
• And for those of you lucky enough to have birthdays outside of the Six Weeks of NYSMF, you'll get your very own Birthday Announcement there (as long as you've taken the time to Friend Keisuke, that is. He isn't omniscient, though he pretends to be.)
  
  
• Speaking of Annoucements ... are you missing those wacky Announcements, presented with such verve and vivacity by Keisuke Hoashi every morning after Choir? Well, heck, that's exactly what Twitter is for!
  
  He'll be putting up all kinds of weird, irregular Announcements about NYSMF all year long, including notices about faculty performances, special sales on the NYSMF Store, laudatory notes concerning student and other alums, and even notices of when he himself will show up on your TV in one or another of the 50 shows he's done!
