NYSMF is a six-week summer music festival that provides extraordinary musical opportunities to hundreds of talented young musicians each year.

Taking you far beyond traditional summer music camps, NYSMF provides a uniquely challenging, supportive, and fun environment, where young musicians from ages 10 through 25 all benefit equally from all NYSMF has to offer, including:

• More than 50 performing ensembles & classes
• Over 30 concerts every summer
• Faculty & Staff from Curtis, Juilliard, the Manhattan School of Music, the NY Pops, and more
• Visiting Artists from the NY Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra, Boston Symphony Orchestra, and many other outstanding musical institutions

NYSMF is hosted by the State University College at Oneonta in Oneonta, New York (4 hours northwest of New York City and 1 hour west of Albany, NY), located in the beautiful foothills of the Catskill Mountains.
