instructors at NYSMF have hundreds of combined years of experience
in private instruction, professional performance, and teaching
at summer music festivals.
The
NYSMF Administration, Conductors, Faculty Instructors, and Counseling Staff represent virtually every major music
school in the country, as well
as a large proportion of top professional orchestras and
internationally renowned jazz ensembles from around the
globe.
ADMINISTRATION
Our Administration includes
Executive Director Jungeun Kim from the faculty of the
prestigious Curtis Institute of Music
in Philadelphia; Dr. Robert Barstow, head of the Music
Department at SUNY Oneonta; and Keisuke Hoashi, an established
television
actor from Hollywood, CA.
CONDUCTORS

Charles Schneider, the founding Musical Director of the Glimmerglass
Opera and Musical Director of
the Catskill,
Utica and Schenectady
Symphonies; international recording artist Mike Holober;
and Dr. Sherrie Maricle, Education Director of the New York
Pops Orchestra at Carnegie Hall.
