fundamental piano technique for instrumentalists who wish to
learn to play the piano. |

Music Theory & Ear Training I, II, III, IV |

Students learn all aspects of music, including sight singing in different clefs,
singing and recognizing intervals and triads, and rhythmic
and melodic dictation skills. Students will be placed in
classes appropriate to their level. |

The study of jazz, rock and roll, musical theatre, opera, and more. Eras will
range from antiquity to the 21st century. |

Beginning Conducting |

An introduction to the technique of leading larger ensembles. Basic beat patterns,
dynamics, phrasing, tempo changes, cueing, cut-offs, changing
beat units, interpretation, baton technique, and score-reading
skills will be studied. |

Beginning Composition |
